This August Beaucare Medical Ltd, the UK's premier supplier of hygiene medical supplies and equipment to private care homes, hospitals and individuals, celebrates 18 years of business, since its conception in 1992. Over the past 18 years the company has grown and developed in a number of ways, whilst the company's original philosophy of supplying good quality products at sensible prices is still in force.
Beaucare Medical was established and started trading 18 years ago from a small lock up in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. Having spent four years developing a strong local reputation, Beaucare's Managing Director, and General Manager and Director Simon White, took the business national in 1996, after winning their first national group care home contract. Shortly after, Beaucare moved to larger premises to accommodate the ever increasing demand for the company's products.
Now with over 4000 products, including the company's flagship Beaulift patient lifting hoist range, a £2m stock base and a team of over 20, Beaucare is going from strength to strength as it continues to exceed the requirements of all its existing customers, and winning new group contracts from throughout the UK.
Beaucare's Managing Director, Jonathan Brown, said: 'I'm incredibly proud of where we've come from and what we've achieved in the past 18 years. I'm also very pleased that we're still working to our original premise of delivering the right product, at the right price, on the right day.'
General Manager and Director, Simon White, added that 'the next three years for Beaucare are about increasing customer service levels with greater speed and efficiency, in order to cut delivery costs and enhance customer delivery options. After sales care and service are important to our customers, which in turn means it's a priority for us'.
